Eligibility

You need to take the IBSAT if you wish to join the post graduate management course in any of the participating institutes like ICFAI Business School (IBS), ICFAI National College (INC), ICFAI School of Financial Studies (ISFS), ICFAI School of Marketing Studies (ISMS), and ICFAI School of Human Resource Development(ISHRD).

The eligibility conditions for admission into various MBA programs through ICFAI Business Studies Aptitude Test (IBSAT) are:

For IBS/ISFS/ISMS/ISHRD: Graduation (10+2+3 or 10+2+4) from any discipline, (English medium) with 50% and above aggregate marks.

For INC: Graduation (10+2+3 or 10+2+4) from any discipline, with 40% and above aggregate marks.

Students in their final year bachelor’s degree course are also eligible to apply, provided they complete their graduation requirements including practical examinations/viva/assignments before April 30 of concern year. Such applicants will have to produce a certificate to that effect at the time of admission. For any extension of this deadline, the applicants should apply separately, giving the schedule of their graduation examination. Extension may be granted on the basis of the circumstances of the case. The admission of applicants will, however, remain provisional until they produce mark sheets and a degree certificate establishing their eligibility.

Selection Process:
The selection process for postgraduate management programs comprises of IBSAT and interviews. GMAT scores are also accepted by IBS institutes. Short-listed candidates are called for the interview process on the basis of their IBSAT scores. Each participating institute decides its won cut-off scores.

The students short listed for interviews will be supplied with a copy of the official prospectus and application material of the respective Participating Institutions.
